Went home

I attended a funeral service last night. Elder Lim's mother, aunty Ng has gone to be with the Lord on Saturday. It happened when I came back from Bible Knowledge Quiz in KL and after almost the whole day shopping in Midvalley. Tired. As usual, switch on my laptop and check my mails. A mail with title "We Shall Meet on that Beautiful Shore" caught my attention. It is from church, informing us that aunty Ng went home. With a heavy heart, I told my mom about this. Church made an announcement after worship next morning informing that there will be a memorial service at 8pm at Elder Lim's place. Get prepared by 7.30pm. Reach there around 8pm. I can feel that my leg weight a lot for every steps I threw out. They started with a few song to worship God then some testimony shared by her grandson, daughter-in-law and sister-in-christ about aunty Ng when she's still alive. I stood there, freezed. I learned that aunty Ng is a cheerful woman. She always smile to others. No matter what, her smile will come first. She is a good mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister-in christ and also councelor. She always put her trust in the Lord, no matter what. She even killed snakes in her younger days and also in her 90's. She pray for her family members, church members and friends everyday without fail. Her faith and loyalty towards God touched many people. She did not miss any cell group meeting and Sunday church service. She put God first in her life. I stood there, still frozen. She had 2 major operation in her life. In that very moment, she does not trembles nor anxious. In fact, she is there praying for another guy that's going to have a heart operation. I was totally shocked. Such a brave woman, this is the first time I heard. Feeling embarrassed, I walked slowly to the coffin and paid my last respect. Brave, Faithful, Joyful, Cheerful, Fearless, Prayer Warrior, Patient, Courage...... Unfinishable word of praise. Thank you Lord, for letting me know who is aunty Ng, although she doesn't know who am I. Amen.
