Cut it

Annual CF Lunch is just around the corner. As every SMKBM members knew, this is a big event which will be held every year by BMCF. Since it is a big event, there's a lot of preparation work to be done. From invitation to table arrangement, table arrangement to door gift, door gift to worship, worship to testimony, testimony to presentation and so on. Preparation work have to be divided among members so that work can be done easily. This year, it was suppose to be my sister doing as I have to prepare myself for trials and spm but it came back to me. Invitation cards and tickets.

After teacher confirmed the invitation card, I started printing yesterday evening and finished last night. This year's invitation card was quite special as it was totally different from previous years' and more work to be done, too. Now, who's gonna cut it? Should I ask my sister to cut? (it was suppose to be her job) Other members which is quite free? (they are preparing for their monthly test) Well.. I am the “do it right” type of person. So, I do not actually trust others to do it as maybe they will take their own sweet time or wrongly cut or other probability mistakes including my own sis enjoyed doing it. Of course, not forgetting to scold her because she left so many “teeth” for the card. As there are about 100pcs to be cut, I planned to cut it today after my maths paper cause there will be a break for merdeka. My sis cut some for me, but I cut the most and because of this, I got something to blog. Worth it eh?

Came back from school today, very tired, slept from 3pm to 9pm. Woke up and started to cut. Cut.. cut... cut.. cut... cut.. Don't know how long I've cut, then I realized something. As I was following the lines, cutting it, it was telling me a story. Lines, was a guideline on paper for cutting and have to be cut away to make the paper look nice. It was like following the lines to cut but have to cut away the lines. Scissors, have sharp edge, to be driven on paper to cut the paper. Without a scissors, you won't be able to have nice edges on your paper even though you have a blade. Paper, was a piece of thin and blank column for you to put your creativity on it to make it useful. Process of cutting is, you have to have a pair of scissors to cut the paper guided by the lines but to left out the lines so that you can get something out of a piece of blank paper. Without scissors, you cannot cut, without lines, you don't know what to cut, without paper, you have nothing to cut.

Cutting, was like the life we are living. Life was the paper and problems was the lines while we are the scissors. We are on this earth, trying to live out our best, just like trying to turn the piece of paper into something memorable and meaningful. But we are always facing problems, which is everywhere at anytime around us. Problems always drive us mad and we became weaker and weaker as days passed. We are always trying to solve problems and/or get rid of it. How the scissors cut, how the paper will be shaped and how many lines will be left on the paper. How we solve the problems, how many values can we learned from that and how we will become. Things depends on Him too, if you put your trust in Him, you will sure find warmth and shelter when you are lost and alone.

Sometimes when we cut, we left out some lines on the paper. It can be seen clearly if it was at the front and it will be nothing if it was at the back unless we look at it carefully. Problems that we face often leave some effect on us. Whether is a bad one or a good one, it depends on how a person viewed it. If the person look at the lines left at the front, it will be a bad view while if a person look at the lines at the back, he might not see it but if he examines carefully. Everyone is imperfect and will sure leave out some lines in their life. So, if the lines are at the front of the paper, trim it, don't let it ruin your life and if it was on the back, make it a sign for yourself, as a reminder not to commit the same mistake again. Problems that we face mould us into a better person if we cut the unnecessary lines away and get the value from it.

Just finish cutting. What's next? Folding and glue it! Be calm, and patient.. With a patient heart and your trust in Him with love, you will be able to hold the scissors and one piece by one piece, cutting with a smile on your face, you will sure finish the cut although it seems to be an unfinishable cuttings. Without the trust and love for Him, you cannot make it although you have a heart full of patient because your patient will fade away and left nothing but a dark hole inside. Make a change now and cut out your life!

Love never fails....And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13

We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

1 John 4:19-20

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

Matthew 6:24
